Bare Island has gained some fame in recent years as one of the locations in the film Mission Impossible II but it is still diving that most tourists come for. Several dive sites across the island all offer something different for the discerning diver. There is an extremely robust fish population around the many overhangs so take a torch if you do not want to miss anything. Night diving in the area is superb. The water must always be respected as the swells can catch the unwary. Try to dive with someone who has good local knowledge.
