Try not to be put off by the name Scary Point; this is an exhilarating dive along a coral wall out to a separated low-level bommie. A wall extends 15M to the surface from a sloping sandy bottom that is home to many species of Ray. The isolated bommie sits in 18M of water and is resident to some of the larger inhabitants of the reef with many species of Shark. This easily accessible dive site exemplifies the superb diving that the Barrier Reef has to offer.
