First time Melbourne divers should take someone with local knowledge to this dive site. Occasional strong currents can catch the inexperienced so this area should only be dived at slack water. The Kelp Beds are very special and survive in a symbiotic niche with many species of small fish living amongst them. This dive site is just one amongst many in the local area, hire a local guide for the day and explain exactly what sort of dive you are looking for. |
