Western Australia West Australia is often overlooked as a scuba holiday destination as there are so many other dive options. This is a great shame as there are some very worthwhile dives to be had. The Rowley Shoals is a protected location that is famed for its pristine coral gardens. Ningaloo Reef is not far from Exmouth & Coral Bay. It stretches for 260km along the coast and attracts huge numbers of scuba divers as well as seasonal visits from whalesharks.
